We had the most magical wedding here at The Lakeside Manor on 7th September. From the moment we began planning it with Farrell and Claire right up until the end, it all went so smoothly they took care of everything and put us at ease straight away, if we had any concerns Claire was always there to answer them. The food was so good and a big talking point with our guests along with excellent service from the team, Kevin, Linda, Ben & Sammy. The function room was perfect and of course the view of the lake is spectacular especially from the balcony. From the moment we booked our wedding at the Lakeside Manor Maeve & Breda could not do enough for us, We had eaten in the hotel previously and the food has always be delicious so when we looked at the main function room with the fabulous lake views we were sold! The room was perfect for our wedding and has a fab statement glass wall which separate's a small part of the room which at our request Maeve set up into an arts & crafts corner for the kids. We arrived to our fruit punch arrival drinks were our guests relaxed, mingled and enjoyed the view until dinner was announced. The food as usual was amazing and our guests where left waiting for nothing. All staff were very friendly and helped with any requests made to them. In the evening the guests enjoyed an evening supper dressed out in the adjoining room to the function room were they could relax away from the music if they wanted. Unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side but thanks to the hotel's views and quirky furniture we still got amazing pictures to remember our day! Overall we had an amazing day, filled with amazing people and memories and we would recommend this hotel to anyone. The best wedding ever and as for the sunsets, Spectacular! Highly recommended, excellent hotel, excellent management, excellent service, tremendous staff and fantastic location. Spent 3 days at the Lakeside which hosted my daughters wedding. The team pulled out all the stops and made the big day/3 day stay the most memorable for my daughter, her beau and all the guests. A hidden gem, excellent value for money for both a short stay and for that special occasion/event. Feedback from the guests is that this was the best wedding they have ever been at!! And they will be back, thank you Farrell, Maebh and all the team. John
