Stockholm 2017
Four teams remain in Europe's second tier competition. Along with the glory of winning this major trophy, there is a priceless position in next years Champions League up for grabs.
Who will progress to the all important final in Stockholm on May 24.
Manchester United
Favourites to win the competition. Looking more and more like they will need to in order to return to Champions League football next year.
The Red Devils currently sit 5th in the BPL and have, on more than one occasion, squandered opportunities to enter CL qualification via League standings.
The Europa League is the only major trophy United have never won.
Ajax
The last time the Dutch side were in the Europa League semi finals ('92) they went on to win the competition. Bosz is hoping history will repeat itself and bring trophies to the Amsterdam Arena within his first twelve months in charge; a very impressive League and European double still to play for.
Lyon
This is new battleground for the French side, having never been to the Europa League semi final. That being said, they are no stranger to European football.
In 2010, Lyon did push in the Champions League; reaching the semi finals before being denied a shot at the trophy by runners up, Bayern Munich.
Celta Vigo
Currently sitting 11th in La Liga and having lost their last three European matches against English sides, being drawn against Manchester United for their semi final probably isn't ideal. But it is football and anything can happen.
Ex-Liverpool forward, Iago Aspas has bagged 17 league goals this year for Vigo and will be looking to cause an upset over the two legs.
Wednesday
The Amsterdam Arena was the venue for this years first Europa League semi final.
Ajax were looking to continue their unbeaten run against Lyon; previously beating them in both group stage matches of the CL in 02/03 and recording two draws in the CL groups in 11/12.
Any Chelsea fan would be excited watching the on-loan forward Bertrand Traore on display. The 21 year old scored a brace and set up another, helping his Ajax side to a 4-1 win.
Lyon began the game the better side but stuffed some real chances forcing a couple of decent saves from Onana in the home sides nets. But from then on, the youthful Dutch side put on a pulsating performance, scoring three before half time.
After the break, Lyon began to throw more and more bodies forward and they were rewarded for their efforts with, what could be, a vital away goal. The result of a poor defensive header from Ajax centre half, Schone.
Lyon were denied a second when Cameroonian shot stopper, Onana came up with an unreal double save against Ghezzal followed by Rafael.
Ajax restored a three goal cushion going into the second leg with twenty minutes remaining after Bertrand latched onto a faboulous cross from Ziyech.

Thursday
United traveled to the Estadio Municipal de Balaidos with high hopes following the reinstatement of dab master Paul Pogba to the starting 11 alongside Eric Bailly, both returning from injury.
The game opened as many would have imagined with United having the lions share of possession. However, Vigo looked dangerous on the break through Sisto and Aspas on the flanks and the games first real chance fell to Daniel Wass, who headed wide from six yards.
As the half progressed, similar to their League campaign, United created chances. Notably from Mkhitaryan and Lingard. But failed to capitalise. A running theme for José's men. That being said, credit goes to Sergio Álvarez for making himself a big presence and denying the English side on both occasions. The game remained goalless at the interval.
Continuing to look dangerous on the break, Vigo started the second half with two good chances. Aspas headed narrowly wide, before Sisto was denied by Argentinian number one, Romero; his deflected shot being parried over the bar.
Frustration was growing within the United camp as they looked for an all important away goal and it wasn't until a piece of brilliance from Zlat... nope not him, Marcus Rashford did United make their breakthrough.
The young star, pushed aside the likes of Pogba and Blind to hit a free kick. And hit it, he did. 20 yards out, Rashford stepped up and ping'd the freekick into the top left bin....Tekkers.
United had their away goal and from there, José was not letting it slip. A solid defensive display allowed United to maintain their lead until the final whistle.
Vigo travel to Old Trafford next week and have to look for a result. However, United have not lost a game at Old Trafford since September
