If Ed Sheeran & Hozier had a lovechild it would be 23-year-old Dundalk man, David Keenan.

With the negative press that Sheeran is currently receiving about claiming Irish roots, this man ticks all the boxes. Irish. Acoustic guitarist. Thought-provoking lyricist.

Having been asked to play alongside the likes of Mick Flannery, Hothouse Flowers & The Strypes, David is fast becoming one of Ireland's most talked about budding artists.

Keenan's obsession with melody & words was inspired by the storytelling of his grandfather. After being exposed to the writings of Behan, Yeats and Wilde with the soundtrack of Dylan, Buckley and The Dubliners during his formative years, David's individual style was born.

The fact that this young musician writes & performs all his own songs, paired with his uniquely haunting voice, makes him irresistible & definitely one to watch!

Check out his latest music video, up and coming hit, 'Cobwebs'.

Keep an eye out on Debs Republic for his tour dates to be announced very soon.
